Who We Are
Maia Fischler has been a professional writer, interviewer, and publications consultant for more than 25 years. She has edited a wide variety of publications, from the national Greenpeace Examiner to Oregon State University’s Open Minds. A member of the Association of Personal Historians, Maia is constantly networking with other life story writers to bring awareness and technical know-how to her clients’ projects. She is a good listener and creative interviewer, dedicated to bringing out the best in family story tellers.
Cheryl McLean has designed hundreds of publications for clients across the country. She has served on the art and editorial boards of CALYX, A Journal of Art and Literature by Women, since 1979, and created cover and interior designs for many CALYX books and journals. Currently, Cheryl runs ImPrint Services, an editing and design firm in Corvallis, Oregon, and is the publisher of Jackson Creek Press.
